The diagram illustrates the structure of an LED flashlight and how it functions.
Overall, it is apparent that the flashlight consists of 4 main components. This LED flashlight is capable of generating energy to light up a bulb.
As shown in the picture, there are two batteries linked together in the inner body of the light: the former and the latter. This connection requires a metal spring located at the bottom of the body to push the latter battery up to stick to the former. In addition, at the external body of the light, a slide switch is installed on the left- hand side of the light containing a part of the metal spring.
The picture shows how the LED flashlight works. Firstly, when the slide switch is turned on, the base of the bulb is attached to the first battery, producing the electric current that flows through the two batteries, thanks to the metal spring. Next to that, the flow of current keeps transmitting the electricity through the two batteries ,and the process recurs constantly to light up the bulb. This process stops only when there is a broken circuit.
