The pictorial diagram illustrates the process of generating electricity with the help of coal.
Overall, the process consists of several stages, starting with putting coal into pulveriser to convert coal into small pieces and ending with transformer transmitting the electricity to the power lines.
In the initial stage, coal is stored in the big storage tank from there it is put on a conveyor belt which takes the coal into the pulveriser machine where the coal gets converted into small. Following this, the converted coal is then pass through the furnance machine, where it gets heated on high flames and the furnance has an opening at the top which allows hot air to go out.
After that, the turbine connected to furnance starts to rotate and a cooler is also attached to the turbine. Next, when the turbine rotates a generator is attached to it which produces electricity. Finally, the produced electricity is then transported to the power lines with the use of transformer.
