The presented illustration of the diagram demonstrates the process of generating electricity using coal.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that these process involves multiple stages that transform coal into electrical energy, starting from pulverising coal and ending with the electricity distribution through power lines.
The beginning of the process, coal introduced to pulveriser, where it is crushed into small particles. Then, small coal particles fed into furnace, where they are heated; and the heat generated from the furnace used to turn water into steam in a boiler. This high-pressure steam is directed toward a turbine, cause it to spin.
Before it come to transformer, the energy that inside of turbine is connected to generator, which converts mechanical energy to electrical energy. After electricity passed through a transformer, where it is converted to a higher voltage suitable for transmission. Finally, the ready well-generated electricity distributed via power lines to houses and businesses.
