The maps illustrate the development that took place in the Coastal town of Liverton docks from 1980 to the present day.
Overall, a comparison of the two maps reveals a complete transformation from a rural area to an urban area in Liverton docks city.
In the year 1980, the town was less crowded without any residential and commercial structures except a warehouse, but after that, the town witnessed significant changes. The most noticeable change is that the warehouse and crane in the south of the river were demolished to establish one hotel, two apartments, and a parking area. Moreover, the river walk was also constructed along the south bank of the river up to the bridge.
In the north of the river, the number of warehouses and a crane were knocked down, and an education center, sailing club, and kids’ playing zone sprang up along the north coast of the river. Further, the number of ships seemed to decline, and a ship museum was built in front of the education center in the river. Besides this, a flood barrier and a bridge were also introduced in the upstream of the river in Liveston docks town.
