The above diagram clearly shows how Liverton docks changed from the year 1980 until Today. In general, the components of the docks have been changed throughout the years taking into consideration the people’s needs such as parking spaces and kid’s playgrounds.
In 1980, the dock consisted of three warehouses, 2 cranes that help in lifting and storing the goods, and several ships as well. Basically the process of shipping consisted transferring the goods from the warehouse to the right ship travelling to the coast to the proposed destination.
However, nowadays the dock has leveled up the components to enhance the people’s experience. 6 building have been added around the cost and some building have been converted which included two education centers, one sailing club, kids playground, people’s accommodations such as hotel and apartments and most importantly parking spaces. Interestingly the ship has turned into a museum a bridge have been build in the cost and a flood barrier to ensure the safety of the places as well as adding a river walk to make the place interesting to visit.
In summary, throughout the years there Liverton docks changed from a place where goods were stored and shipped to a an entertainment place where people can enjoy a visit by the river, stay in a hotel and visit the museum and more activities such as sailing.
