The diagram illustrates the changes in the Liverton docks today compared to 1980. The docks are now modified to satisfy the general public, and to provide greater idea about the ships.
Overall, the dock now accommodates more people, and people the chance to learn more about the area. It is also now made more safer in comparison to the past. However, sailing of ships seems to have been paused with time.
The area where all the ships were kept, now has only one ship, which is also a museum. All the warehouse are also already demolished, and instead converted into areas for the general public, for instance educational area and housing area. In order for safe travels, a bridge has also been constructed with flood barriers to make it more safer for the kids, as the playing area for them is located just near the bridge.
Furthermore, the area is now maintained in a proper manner, considering the people living in the area. Even though, the area is better for the society, it has risked the jobs of the sailors who used the docks to transport their findings.
