The diagram shows a method of producing leather products by a raw material, animal skin. Overall, the process consists of 11 different stages starting with drying collected animal skins and ending with a ready to sell product.
At the beginning of the process of making leather goods, animal skin collected is dried before taking them to the factory with the help of specific vehicles. Next, in the factory, skin is washed with the mixture of water and lime. Having been washed, skin is soaked in lime. Following this, comes a stage of flattening soaked material which, then, flattened skin is soaked in Tannin(substance, consisting of water and vegetable matter).
After the soaking process is ended, material is, then, undergoes a polishing stage in which the soaked skin is polished. Subsequently, polished products are sent to the factory, and comes out ready to be sold as a complete product.
