The map shows an expansion project of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The Eiffel Tower is located on the west side of the map, where there is the Seine river and the Ecole Militaire located on the north and on the southeast of this tower, respectively. The Hotel des Invalides is located in the middle of map, with the Musee d’Orsay sited on the northeast of the hotel. The Place de la Concorde and the Musee de Louvre are located on the north and on the east of Hotel des Invalides, separated by the river. In addition, Jardin du Luxembourg is sited on the southeast side of the map.
Turning to the construction of the Eiffel Tower, this building has a height of 324 metres, with the weight of the structure recorded at 10.100 tonnes. There are two platforms, where the first platform is located on 57 metres above ground level, while the second one is sited on 115 metres above ground level. Below the foundation of the tower, there are 5 floors which each level has a different function. The first level, sited just under the foundation, is used as ticket office and access to the tower. Meanwhile, shops and restaurants are sited on the second level, where the third one is enabled for entertainment purposes. In addition, the two remaining floors -fourth and fifth- have a function as a parking lot.
