Pictures below provide data regarding the Eiffel Tower in Paris as well as a possible scheme of upcoming project targeted at extending underground. Some parameters and Tower’s location are also given.
Overall, as can be seen from the map Eiffel Tower is placed on the right bank of the Seine river near the Ecole Military centre. Moreover there are at least seven more amenities in Paris except for Eiffel Tower. Tower’s features include it’s height – 324 meters, weight of metal structure – 10,100 tonnes, and length of first and second platform respectively – 57 and 115 meters.
Eiffel Tower’s underground is going to be greatly developed. Firstly, the Tower will be reinforced by placing two foundation blocks under it’s supports. Five floors (levels) with different kinds of entertainment are going to be built, last two will be occupied by packing spaces. Shops, restaurants, cinema, and museum will be placed on the second and third floors. It will be available to enter and buy a ticket on the first level, closest to the Tower. Two lifts will be working there in order to move between floors. In addition, underground’s ceiling will be made from glass.
