The images depict the present layout of a museum and its planned alternations. Overall, the most notable changes to the museum will be the relocation of the entrance and several display sections, along with the erection of a modern art exhibition.
Regarding the layout’s left section, facing Josephine Street, the staircase at the bottom will remain intact, while the marine life shown above will be converted into a store room. Furthermore, a modern art section will be constructed at the top left corner.
The middle part contains a restroom between the stairwells, an open atrium, and a lift area, located from top to bottom, in that order. The first two sections will experience consistency, whereas the bottom lift will be relocated to be adjacent to the other. Moreover, a new entrance will be opened on Patterson Street, which is at the bottom of the plan.
The right portion will continue to showcase mind and body, evolution, and dinosaurs along the bottom wall. Although the design room in the top left corner will stabilize, the craft room next to it and the gemstone section in the top right will be swapped, and the store room between them will be removed. Finally, the entrance facing Spring Street on the right will be closed to create space for the marine life section.
