The diagram gives information on how the life cycle of salmo changes.
Overall, it is clear that this process is divided into three stages, with the first being the removal of this species from upper river to lower river, the movement to the sea in the next, and go back to their upper river for spawning in the last stage.
Looking at the first two stages, initially, salmon eggs are laid upstream, where the water moves slowly to prevent these eggs from being swept away. These eggs then hatch underneath the moss and gravel, and they stay here for about 5-6 months. After going through this period, they develop into fry, with a length of 3-5 centimeters. They relocate downstream, which has a fast flowing river because of the waterfall, and they are experienced remarkable growth within 4 years.
Afterwards, they evolve into smolts,12-15 cm long. They have a journey to migrate to the open sea, where they take approximately a half of a decade. Following this, they continue to grow in size to become adult salmon, seven times longer than smolts. Eventually, they return to complete to natural life cycle and ensure the survival of the species.
