The given flow chart shows the step-by-step process involved in recycling plastic waste.
Overall, the process represents nine steps for recycling waste: collection, sorting, compression, crushing, washing, formation of pellets, heating, raw material, and production of new plastic products.
The first step is to collect plastic waste and transfer it to a recycling plant. Now, workers in the plant start sorting, the second step. The sorted waste then undergoes compression by a compressor machine. Further, the compressed material moves toward crushing and washing. The material is crushed by a crusher, and below the crusher there is a container full of water, where the crushed material is washed.
Eventually, the washed plastic material is fed into a pellet-producing machine. From this step, pellets are formed and transferred for heating. By heating the waste through a burner at a high temperature, high-quality raw material is produced. Finally, this prepared raw material is transported for the production of various products such as water bottles, T-shirts, carry bags, and tiffin boxes.
