Band 5+: The diagrams show the structure of solar panel and its use. Write a report for a university, lecturer describing the information shown below. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words.

In these given illustrations, it shows us that how the solar panels are used to heat air, and other kind of mechanism that helps to heat water.

At the very top diagram, it shows the structure of solar panel. They have a transparent lid on both of the mechanism boxes, attached with two small pipes on each box to use as an inlet and outlet.

For heating air through solar panel, air pass through the inlet in the box with transparent top. The air get heated through the sun rays, which later passed through the outlet to let the warm air out.

For producing hot water, the procedure is both same but it has a little difference in the stucture from inside. For liquid, they have attached the pipeline inside. Cool water enter inlet which pass through the pipes, and simultaneously, it is getting heated from sunlight which is passing through the visible lid, then later, warm water comes out from the outlet.
