The bar chart compares the expenditure of two Europe countries- France, The UK- on consumers goods namely: cars, computers, books, perfume, and cameras, in 2010.
Overall, its clear that generally UK consumers had spent the most money on cars books cameras while the oppisite was true for perfume and computers.
In UK 450.000 pounds were spent on cars ,Compared to 400.000 pounds spent in France. A similar pattern could be seen in spending of books with UK being 400.000 pounds and France’s expenditure being 300.000 pounds. The most significant diffrence between 2 countries could be seen in spending on cameras with UK’s spenditure being 350.000 pounds while france’s is 150.000 pounds.
France surppased on the remaining categories: Computers and Perfume. French consumers spent 355.000 pounds on computers while UK consumers spent 350.000 pounds. Similarly French consumers spent 200.000 pounds on perfume while British people spent approximetly 150.000 pound making france slightly higher than UK.
