The pie charts provided illustrate relation between how evergy is consumed and the greenhouse gas emission involved in an average Australian household.
Overall, the majority of energy consumed is heating, followed by water heating, in total they were more than 70%. On the other hand, water heating and other appliances took very large porpotion in greenhouse gas emissions, while heating reduced in almost 1/3 of it’s porpotion in energy use.
To provide more detail in terms of energy use, heating and water heating as memtioned were 42% and 30% respectively, while other appliances were 15%. The remaining are refigeration, lightning and cooling, they were 7%, 4% and 2% respectively.
On the other hand, water heating was the largest porpotion in greenhouse gas emissions, which was 32%. Following by other appliances, heating and refigeration, which was 28%, 15%, 14% respetively. lightning and collling were the minority compares to others, which was 8% and 3%.
