The presented line graph and bar chart illustrate the world oil price for each year between 1970 to 2005 and the top of six countries which produce oil and how much they export each day in 2005.
In general, world oil prices experienced some fluctuations and were not stable. Moreover, the largest amount of oil production was in Saudi Arabia, while the lowest was in Nigeria.
At the beginning of the period, oil prices was around 10, climbing significantly to rougly 80 with some slight fluctuations in 1980. After this dramatic growth, the prices started to decrease also experienced some fluctuations and droped to nearly 23 in 1995. Moreover, the oil prices suddenly go up to approximately 50 after ten years.
According to the bar chart, the highest amount of oil production per day was 9 million in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the oil export in Russia was just below 7 million per day, which was above the average production rate. In contrast, the amount of oil export in other countries such as Norway, Iran, United Arab Emirates, and Nigeria was almost the same level, approximately 2.5 million each day.
