The bar graph displays the travel method used by Europeans in and around city with four transport modes mainly bus ,bike , car and foot in between the years 1960 to 2000.
Overall, there is a clear distinction of travel method by people in these three periods. Besides, the number of car travellers stood the highest in the graph.
To commence with, in 1960, walking was the preferred travel method by people accounting for around 34% and it was the highest in the graph of 1960. Whereas, car was the least travel option among other modes with a percentage of 5% . Similarly, bike and bus became the second and third used travel method with a proportion of 25% and 18% respectively.In contrast , in 1980, 25% travellers used bus , where 16% used foot . Both car and bike was bit higher than the foot ratio.
On the other hand, in 2000, 36% used their own car which gradually decreased the ratio for other three modes to less than 15%.
