Task Response

The report attempts to address the task by describing the changes in Dubai, but it contains several inaccuracies and omissions. It mentions the increase in buildings and traffic, and notes some common features, but the description is vague and lacks specific details. The report also has grammatical errors and informal language that detract from clarity. To improve, focus on providing a clearer overview, using more precise vocabulary, and ensuring grammatical accuracy.

Coherence & Cohesion

The report attempts to organize information into paragraphs, but the flow is often disrupted by unclear referencing and abrupt shifts between ideas. The overall message is difficult to follow due to repetitive phrasing and lack of clear progression. To improve, use clear topic sentences for each paragraph, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single main idea, and use cohesive devices (e.g., 'in contrast', 'furthermore') to link sentences and paragraphs smoothly.

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with limited range and flexibility. There are several word choice errors (e.g., 'developes', 'numner', 'plantation') and informal expressions (e.g., 'there is only three things are common'). To improve, expand your vocabulary to include more precise and varied terms (e.g., 'urban development', 'infrastructure', 'vegetation'), and use collocations accurately. Avoid informal language and ensure word forms are correct. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The report contains numerous grammatical errors that significantly impede understanding. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'picture illustrate'), tense consistency, article usage, and sentence structure. Punctuation is also often incorrect or missing. To improve, practice writing simple, accurate sentences, review basic grammar rules (e.g., subject-verb agreement, plural forms), and proofread your work to correct errors. Aim to use a variety of sentence structures, but prioritize accuracy.
