Overall, it’s clearly seen that the largest amount was spent in 2011, whereas the highest amount earned was in 2007. Nevertheless, mostly expenditures outweigh the amount of money earned.
Looking at the data in more detail in 2001, $1,991 billion was earned, whereas $1,863 billion was spent. In 2003, the percentage of earned money declined slightly to $1782 billion, and the expenditures grew to $2160 billion. In 2005 was received $2154 billion, and $2472 billion was allocated. In 2007 expenditures were nearly equal to the earned money, $2568 billion was generated and $2729 billion was used. In 2009 amount of collected money decreased rapidly to $2105 billion, in contrast, spending grew to $3518 billion. Moreover, in 2011 this tendency continued and expenditures reach $3603 billion, while collected money increased a bit to $2304 billion.
