The given diagram illustrates the process in which used bottles are recycled.
Overall, the recycling process consists of three major steps in total, including collecting and washing used glass bottles, recycling used glass bottles into brand new bottles, and packaging and selling finished products to consumer market.
The process commences with collecting used glass bottles at recycling center. From there, the bottles are transfered to cleaning factory where they are sanitized by high pressurised water before being sorted into three color categories: clear, brown, and green. After that, the bottles are transported to glass factory.
At the glass factory, the sorted bottles are shattered into pieces. Then the pieces are put into furnace to be melted. Next, the melted glass is mixed with new liquid glass before the muxture is put into a mould to create new bottles. In the final stage, new glass bottles are packaged and contributied to market for sale.
