This report summaries the information presented two pie chart, which reflect the different source of energy for USA for the years 1980 and 1990. The categories items energy include oil, natural gas, coal, hydroelectric power, nuclear power.
In 1980, the largest proportion of the main source of the power was for the oil, accounting for 40% of the total. The amount of the other four items source of the energy were natural gas, coal, hydroelectric power, nuclear power making up 26%, 22%, 5% and 6% respectively.
By 1990, the proportion has changed although not drastically. The oil become the biggest source with 33% of the total hydroelectric power had the lowest amount of the inception at 5%. Regarding natural gas in a decade little changed could be seen with a difference of just 1% where as the source of the nuclear power increased from 5% to 10%. Likewise, of the equal note hydroelectric power was same proportion in both year
Overall, it can be seen that in general there has been little changed over the years as regard the characteristic of the source of energy foe USA
