The image displays a graph with U.S. energy consumption, production, imports, and projections from 1950 to 2025 using units of 1 quadrillion BTU's. U.S. consumption starts near 35 in 1950, rising to approximately 50 in 1975, 100 in 2000, and projecting around 135 by 2025. U.S. production begins near 35 in 1950, reaches approximately 75 in 2000, and hovers around 85 by 2025. Imports start from zero, rising to about 25 by 1975, decreasing slightly, then increasing again to reach approximately 45 by 2025. Overlapping data between consumption and production is noted from 1950 to the 2000s, with projections diverging significantly post-2000.

The line graph illustrate the comparison between the U.S consumption and U.S production about imports and projection with energy unit number in United State from year 1950 until 2025.
Overall, in US they use energy more for consumption than production it increase a lot in 2025 around 140 energy units. As time goes by the energy for consumption and production are mostly increasing. From the graph, for projection energy need are more a lot than imports.
In 1950 until 1975 it’s very little energy in imports but the line graph between consumption and production slowly high. Year 1975 to 2000 imports get much more lot in energy and a little bito decrease between that year. On the other hand, for year 2000 until 2025 there is no decrease at all just a straight increase also the energy change to projections and the use are more bigger rather than imports. In addition, US consumption and production more need bigger energy throughout the evolution.
