The graph below shows the birth rates between China and USA from 1920 to 2000.Distinctly both rates varied sharply during the period from 1920 to 2000.
At the beginning of the century the birth rate of China and the USA was almost the same and this continued until 1930. In 1935 the Chines birth rqate increased significantly and reached 15% and the USA birth rate did not change during this time. In the next 10years, the birth of rate of both countries dropped rapidly and as a result the rate of China and the USA plunged to 5%. By the middle of these century the indicators of these countries jumped considerably. In 1950 birth rate of China and USA reaching a peak of 20percent. After 1950 birth rate indicators declined to 12percent in USA. The following 5years saw slow decline until 1970. During the last 20years of this period rate was the same around 7-8%.
Therefore, both countries birth rates followed a very similar trend. But it was generally higher than the rate of USA.
