It also can be noted that the figure for jobs in manufacturing had risen up to 20 million in 1980, but then dramatically dropped to approximately 13 million at the end of 2020.
When it comes to the number of jobs in agriculture, it can be seen that it showed a slight decrease in 1980, and remained stable at almost 3 million.
