The data presents information about Asian population living in cities between 1970 and 2020 years and predictions for 2030 and 2040 in Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia Overall, population rose in all countries throughout the given period. However, the increases seen in Indonesia and Malaysia far greater than those Philippines and Thailand.
Between 1970 and 1990 all countries increased gradually. During 1990-2020 the figures of Malaysia and Indonesia rapidly increased and become around 80% and over 50% respectively.
