The line graph illustrates the information about the ratio of total inhabitants in four different asian nations residing in cities between 1970 – 2020,with projections for 2030 and 2040.
Overall,it is noticiable from the chart that, the population will increase in all four countries by 2040. Number of people living in city will be higest in Malaysia by 2040.
After analyzing the line graph,it is clearly seen that, in 1970, the ratio of residents living in city of Malaysia was around 30% of total whilst, it reached to around 75% in 2020. It is projected to touch almot 80 % by 2040. Moreover, population of Philippines was almost identical as Malaysia in 1970 and it keep fluctuating by 2010 and remained almost same in 2020. It is predicted to surge up by approximately 10% within 2 decades.
Furthermore, a drastic rise was seen in population of Indonesia, it was around 10% in 1970 and elevated by almost 40% in 2020.It will crop up by almost 20% in last given year. Lastly, rise of approximately 7 % was seen in the year 1990 in population of Thailand , it remained almost stable till 2020. It will increase by around 20% in 2040.
