Overall, it is clear that the value of bananas from Japan increased slightly and continued to rank first throughout the period. Similarly, the price of bananas in France also rose. In contrast, the price in both China and Germany showed a downward trend and the USA stayed at the bottom throughout the given period.
Looking more closely at the data, the price of bananas in Japan shot up and got the highest point with about 2,8 dollars in 1995 but after having a slight increase with about 2,6 dollars in 2004. Similarly, the cost of bananas in the USA rose gradually with about 1,3 dollars in 1995, but after this figure increased no change from 1999 to 2004 with about 1.1 dollars.
However, the year 1994 witnessed a cosiderable fluctuation before dropping slowly to about 1,3 dollars in 2004. Meanwhile, the cost of bananas in France remained unchanged at about 1,7 dollars from 1994 to 1997 but later this figure have a fluctuation between 1998 and 2004 and end at about 1,6 dollars.
