The allocated line graph demonstrates the data in quadrillion regarding the utilization of energy in the United States from 1980 to 2008, which is well predicted further till 2030.
Overall, it is noticeable that the use of non – renewable resources such as Petro and Oil, Coal and Natural gas were the highest whereas the least was the Hydropower.
Observing the graph in detail, in the initial year the consumption of the renewable energy sources was utilized for approximately the same amount, which was reported at 5 quadrillion whilst, the natural gas, petrol as well as oil and the coal were observed at 20, 34 and 16 quadrillion, respectively. Thereby, after 2008, all five categories shown a rise with some fluctuations, which were noted like the petroleum at 40 quadrillion however, around 22 quadrillion less was Coal and Natural Gas. Furthermore, amongst the energy production from natural sources that is the coal along with the crude oil has been predicted to be at the peak which can be observed at 48 quadrillion albeit, the coal will be 18 quadrillion less, howbeit, the artificial sources of generation of electricity will be the troughs wherein the Nuclear, Solar/Wind as well as Hydropower would be nearly 5 quadrillion till 2030.
