The image shows a line graph displaying US Energy Consumption by Fuel from 1980-2030, measured in quadrillion Btu. Petrol and Oil (solid line) rise from 35 to 47, Coal (thick dash) from 15 to 22, Natural Gas (thin dash) from 20 to 34, Nuclear (dotted line) remains steady around 8, Solar/Wind (dash-dot) and Hydropower (short dash) both increase slightly but stay below 5. Consumption is divided into History and Projections, with the latter starting at 2015.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The graph illustrates consumption of energy in the USA from the year 1980 with the prediction till 2030 and this details are from а 2008 report.

oveoverall, utilization of petrol and oil were highest and expected that it will remain on the top while hydropower were the lowest. Futhermore, with some fluctuation coal gain the position of second.

Firstly, petrol and oil were 35 quadrillion units in 1980 with some fluctuation which increased to around yo quadrullion units. It is expected that by the year 2030 it will hit the peak point at 50 quadrillion units. Coal and natural gas were above 15 quadrillion and 20 quadrillion units in the year 1980, respectively, but coal will most likely to surpass natural gas at around 30 quadrillion units in the year 2030.

Secondly, nuclear and solar / wind were 3 quadrillion units in the year 1980, then with some fuctuations solar/wind decreased while nuclear rose slightly to around 7 quadrillion units in the year 2005. Predie-tively nuclear will remain above solar / wind in the year 2030 also. Lastly, hydropower were around 3 quadrillion units in the year 1980. After that, it decreased to 2 quadrillion units in the year 2008 and remain as the lowest consumption energy in the chart which is likely to be continue till 2030.
