Our system will evaluate the answer based on this AI-generated description.
The image shows a line graph displaying US Energy Consumption by Fuel from 1980-2030, measured in quadrillion Btu. Petrol and Oil (solid line) rise from 35 to 47, Coal (thick dash) from 15 to 22, Natural Gas (thin dash) from 20 to 34, Nuclear (dotted line) remains steady around 8, Solar/Wind (dash-dot) and Hydropower (short dash) both increase slightly but stay below 5. Consumption is divided into History and Projections, with the latter starting at 2015.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The line graph based on a 2008 report gives the knowledge about the energy usage in USA since the year 1980 till today and also predicts the future consumption till 2030. The total energy supply is expected to significantly increase in number. Petrol and oil remain the major supplier of energy since 1980 and their usage has just increased in number. The energy supply through renewable source although less, is expected to rise in numbers.

In year 1980 petrol and oil supplied 35 Quadrillion units of energy and this supply is expected to rise upto 50 quadrillion units in 2050. These was an initial dip in the energy supply but a steady rise is seen after 1995 which is expected to continue in future. Coal and natural gas has been another major supplier of fuel. Although the units of energy supplied by coal is supposed to rise, the number of natural gas is predicted to remain almost the same baring minor fluctuations.

The renewable source of energy namely nuclear, solar/wind and hydropower contributed less than 5 quadrillion unit of energy in 1980. It is predicted that fuel supply through nuclear and solar/wind will increase marginally although that through hydropower is expected to decrease.
