The emissions increased gradually in Portugal and Italy while another country have steadly decreased. In addition, Portugal was in the lowest level, as same as Sweden, even it got growth, with around 2 in 1967 and then up to just under 6 in 2007.
Carbon dioxide in United Kingdom declined slowly over four decades, from about 10 in 1967 to just over 8 in 2007. Furthermore, this drop didn’t change its position in the highest emissions among another European country. In 1967, Sweden was around 8 and peak up to just over 10 in 1977 then the big decline started untill 2007 to just under 6 hence and make it in the same position with Portugal.
