The given line graph provides the information about emissions of carbon dioxide per capita in four European countries from 1967 to 2007.
Overall, the co2 output per individual in two countries, United Kingdom and Sweden, showed the highest metric tonnes, however it started to go down. By contrast, two other countries, Italy and Portugal, were in the lowest points, whereas they began to increase.
According to the graph, it is clear that the carbon dioxide emissions in the united kingdom and sweden were approximately 9 and 11 metric tonnes respectively. Nevertheless, the trend of United Kingdom experienced a slight decrease over the whole period. Despite having a rabid growth in co2 output by 1977, the trend of Sweden continued to decline by the end of the period.
Turning to the other details, Italy and Portugal`s emissions showed the lowest metric tonnes, about 1 and 4 respectively in 1967. During the duration, the co2 output of both of the countries decreased marginally and eventually Italy was almost the most polluted country.
