Looking closer at the data, industry and total air pollutants sources, the former started at approximately 7 million tonnes in 1990 and declined steadily at 4 million tonnes from 1990 to 1999. Afterwards, it dropped slowly by the final year, ending with about 3 million tonnes in 2005. The latter began at just below 6 million tonnes in 1990 and decreased considerably throughout the period. It reached 2 million tonnes by the final year (2005).
Specifically, the figure for households source stood at approximately a million tonne in 1990 and dropped steadily during the period (1990; 2005). And Transport source, it started at a million tonne and showed some fluctuations throughout the period. It remained intact.
