Overall, the numbers of dollar per oz for palladium have increased significantly during this period. Despite platinum being the most expensive metal in the start, the cost for platinum shows a steady decline and soon surpassed by gold and palladium.
In the first 4 years, the numbers of palladium cost shows a stable amount which is approximately 750 dollars per oz. Between 2016 to 2018, price of palladium starts to increase steadily until it reaches 1000 dollars per oz. After 2018, cost of palladium witnessed a massive increase every year from 1000 dollars per oz to about 2250 dollars per oz.
In 2013, platinum was the most expensive metal with the cost of 1500 dollars per oz. Despite being the most valued metal, platinum soon shows a decrease overtime overtaken by gold between 2014 and 2015 and palladium between 2017 and 2018. Gold has a stable price range of 1000 to 1500 dollars per oz only increasing in 2019 to approximately 1750 dollars per oz, after that the price of gold remain steady again for the remainder of the period.
