The line graph shows the average price of a few valuable metals between 2013 and 2021.
Overall, we see that the price of gold is relatively stable over the years. In contrast, platinum had a slow but steady decline. On the other hand, palladium went from being the least valuable to the most valuable precious metal.
The price of gold from the year 2013 to 2016 was relatively stable, with a slight decline in between. The price during this period hovered around the range of $1400 per oz. On the other hand, platinum, which started at a slightly higher rate than gold in 2013, showed a steady decline until 2015, eventually dropping in value lower than gold from 2015.
Palladium, which started around $650 per oz in 2013, also saw a slight decline in its price up until 2016. After that, it had a dramatic rise from 2016 until 2021, the highest among all the metals, reaching its peak in 2021 of around $1900 per oz.
