Overall, the average closing prices of Platinum and Gold stayed at the same value throughout 2013 to 2021. Even though Palladium had the lowest closing price in the beginning, it increased dramatically, surpassing both Gold and Platinum.
Gold started off with about $1500 per oz in 2013 and approximately maintained at this level until 2019. In 2020, this metal increased to about $1700 per oz, before staying at about the same level in 2020. Platinum similarly started off with the same amount as gold in 2013, before decreasing to $1000 per oz in 2015 and hovering at about the same level throughout the rest of the period.
Palladium had an average closing price of around $700 per oz between 2013 and 2016 before growing dramatically to around $2300 per oz until 2020. It continued to grow steadily from that period.
