The graph displays information about the consumption of fish, lamb, beef, and chicken in a European country between the years 1979 and 2004. The units are measured by grams per capita per week.
Overall, the only kind of food that experienced an increase was chicken and despite being the third favorite in the beginning, it became the most preferred at the end. Beef was the only one that fluctuated and fish has always been the least favorite over the period given.
Initially, chicken was consumed in small quantities, slightly less than 150 grams per week, making it the second least favorite. But, after 1990, it became superior among the others and remained at the top while reaching 250 grams in 2004.
Beef was the only one that experienced fluctuation, which was in the beginning until around 1985 and then constantly decreased to just above 100 grams at the end of the period. On the other hand, lamb showed a steady decline with minor fluctuations and fish stayed relatively stable around 50 grams.
