The following figure provides a comparison of cansuming various types of meat namely, Fish, Lamb, Beef and Chicken in a cartain country in Europe during 25 years, from 1979 to 2004.
Upon scanning through the graph, it’s apparent that weekly Chicken consumption of every individual has experienced a steady growth ( approximately 100 grams increase) and it is in the highest level than other meats. While, conversely, concerning Lamb and Beef meat, consumption rate has declined during these period. Inspite of other meats, consuming fish in the lowest level is appoximately constant during these years.
It’s interestingly note to situation of Chicken and Beef consumption. To be more exact, after a mere decline, consumption of Beef has climbed rapidly until 1984, then it starts a staggering fall till 2004 ( about 100 gram decrease).
However, concerning Chicken meet, consumption, with a bite fluctuates, has been nearly increasing.
