The line graph illustrates four types of meat consumption such as, chicken, beef, lamb, and fish in a European country between 1979 and 2004. Where, the consumption is given in grams per person per week.
Overall, utilization of chicken, and beef is highest, whereas it is seen that lowest consumption is of fish from the starting of the period to the end of period.
In 1979, the beef had highest demand, which is slightly above 200 grams per person per week. Furthermore, it increased slightly and then sharply declined. Whereas, chicken was around 150 grams and it dramatically increased around 250 grams till 2004, and is highest amongst all.
The other two commodities, that is fish and lamb is almost in same proportion. From 1979 to 2004, lamb has shown fluctuations over the period, but it dropped in the end. While, fish was stable till the end with 50 grams per person per week. Lamb and fish has not shown much differences in the graph.
