At the begining of the year, 5,000 books were studied. by women, which rose significantly at about 10,000. by 2013 reaching at it’s peak. However, from 2013. thestrend declined sharply and the figure at the end of the year was 8,000.
In contrast, only 3,000 book’s were read by men in 2011. This number increased modestly by reaching just below 4,000 in 2012 After 2012, the trend showed sharp increase in number and by 2013 this figure equalized the number of women reading hooks before surpassing it in final year. In 2014, men reading books accounted for 14,000 which was the highest record throughout the period for both gender
Overall, at first women participation in reading the books were comparatively higher but after 2013, men surpassed this trend and recorded for the highest number in 2014.at 15,000
