The overall diagram demonstrates an upward trajectory. The highest growth were Singapore and Thailand, whereas Malaysia and philippins showed slight increase in a given period.
In 1961 Singapore has shown noticable climb from 15% to 30% just over 1 decade period of time. Although, in the 1981 the percentage of young students of the universities quickly declined , then at the second half of the graph line showed considerable growth to just over 35% and reaching the 40% in 2011. Next, in Thailand, nearly one student out of 4 was 18-25 years old, and between 1961 and 1991, number of the students have moderatly drop to 20 percent. Following that, the universities of this state have experienced substantial rise to about 43% by 2011.
On the other hand, Malaysia demonstrated slow growth from 3% to 10% just in 10 year, then it had grown moderatly to number of students reaching just nearly 20%. At the same period, Philippines’s student number slightly grew insiginificantly to 15 per cent and relatively remained stable for the 20 years.
