The graph compares the proportion of GDP spending on health, education and roads and railroads of a country’s government from the year 2000 to 2025. From an overall perspective,
the GDP percentage on education and health both increased moderately over the years, while that of roads and railroads saw a sharp fluctuation.
To begin with, in 2000, the education spending started higher than others with 5%, continued to increase and reached the highest peak of 7% after 10 years. Also, the GDP spending on health rose steadily from about 4,3% in 2000 to 5,2% in 2010. Although beginning at the same percentage level with health, GDP expenditure for roads and railroads seemed to decrease mảkedly with 3,5% 5 years later and increased again in the following years.
It is also clear that after 2010, the proportion of GDP for health and roads and railroads kept going and going, with the health one is predicted to grow rapidly even in 2025. In 2015, after reaching the peak , the percentage of roads and railroads declined drastically, with the reduction of education that both of them are likely to lessen in the future.
