Overall, there has been an upward trend in the proportion of urbanists in four countries, with the most drastic rise being observed in the data for Korea. It is noticeable that, USA is consistently predicted to have highest figures throughout the period.
20% of people settling in India, with a subsequent stability in the next decade and a final rise from exactly 30% in 1990 to nearly 40% by 2030. Similarly, the figure for China remained stable in the first two decades and surpassed India in 1995 before rising significantly and it is predicted to reach a peak of about 68% by the end of the period. The share of population in Korea started at 40%, after which it increased twofold, at precisely 80% in 2000, and it is set to keep rising to 90% in the final year. Similar changes, but to greater extent can be seen in the figure for USA, which is forecast to grow gradually in 60 decades.
