Overall,it is evident that Malaysia had the highest proportion of inhabitants living in the aforementioned cities throughout the given year,the lowest proportion of inhabitants were recorded in Thailand across the four cities over the given period of time.
Looking at the graph in a detailed form,it can be seen that Philippines recorded about 35% of the total population in 1970 and continuously rose to about 75% in 2020,with a projected increase to about 75% by 2040.On the other hand, Malaysia’s population began at 30% in 1970,surpassing the Philippines by 2000 and attaining 80% by 2020 with an expected increase to 90% by 2040.
Alternatively, Thailand accounted for 15% of the total population in 1970,it grew to about 30% by 2020 with a forecasted rise to 75% by 2040.Similarly,Indonesia has about 11% of the total inhabitants on 1970,it continuously grew to about 50% by 2020 with a projected increase to 60% by 2040.These shows there is significant increase in the population across the aforementioned cities over the years.
