The graph illustrates about the population of four Asian countries from 1970 to 2020. The countries which are mentioned are Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, and Indonesia. Furthermore, there has predictions been made from year 2030 till 2040 which is also present in the graph.
By observing the population graph, it can be stated that Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia’s population were in increasing rate till 2020 due that it was convenient to provide the prediction for these countries. Whereas in Philippines case, the population rate was in decline state from 1990 till 2010 afterwards it began to increase.
In 1970, Thailand and Indonesia’s population were 19% and 13% much lower compared to Malaysia and Philippines because at that year their population percentage were 32 and 30 percent. Moreover, Malaysia’s population is enormous when compared to Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia because from 1990 onwards their population rate was huge which led to high population percentage. In 2020, the percentage was at 75% and in 2040 the predicated value is even higher, 85 percent. The predicated population percentage for Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia are lower, which are, 50, 60 and 45 percent.
