Overall, India’s population grew steadily and got higher than China’s while China did not manage to increase much in the given time period. However, both countries are expected to have higher population rates in the final year compared to the starting year.
Number of people living in China was higher with around 1.25 billion. India’s were only about 1 billion. Both countries followed an increasing trend until 2022. China reached it’s peak value in around 2022 with 1.45 billion people. It’s population rate is expected to remain steady for the next 8 years. After 2030, it is predicted that China will loose 0.05 billion people and eventually have 1.4 billion population in 2050.
However, India’s rates were significantly increasing at the same time and it will continiue this trend according to the predictions. These two countries are expected to have the same amount of people in 2030. At the end of the 2050, India will have almost 1.6 billion people living on it.
