The line graph displays total yearly population of China and India between 2000 and now. There is also predictions for next years untill 2050.Both of the countries’ population was rising until 2030. However, expectations show total population of India will increase whether China’s population will decrease after 2030.
In 2000, approximately 1250 billion people was living in China. It was the lowest level of China’s total population. Until mid-2020s, the total populationof the China was increase steadily. Nevertheless, after 2030 total population has started to decrease. Before decreasing, the highest population level of China was approximately 1450 billion.
On the other hand, India has the much less total population in 2000 with 1000 billion. Furthermore, their population increased rapidly in the period that is shown on the grapgh. For instance, total population of India increased 20% in 10 years from the beginning. Therefore, predictions show that this growth will continue.
Overall, in 2000 India’s population was almost 250 billion people less than china. With the help of the India’s population growth and the reason of the China’population decrease, they will meet in 2030. After that, India’s population continue to rise, unlike China’s population.
