The Graph illustrates the production levels of the main fuels like petroleum, coal and natural gas in UK from 1981 to 2000.
The production levels in fuel messures in energy units, 1 energy unit is equal to energy from one million tonnes of oil. In the year 1981 coal is in 80 units and petroleum is slightly high approximately 90 to 95 units. In the middle of the year between 1981 to 1986 the coal and petroleum decreased below 40 units and increased to 140 units. Upto 2000 the coal is decreasing and petroleum is increasing and decreasing and the natural gas production levels also increased by the end of the year 2000.
In the graph the natural gas production levels begins with 39 units in the year 1981 and continuously maintain 40 units up to the year between 1981 to 1991,by the end of year 2000 its 100 units.
