The graph illustrate the percentage of unemployed individuals in two countries from March 1993 to March 1999.
It is noticeable that the rate in America decreased through the years , as it peaked at 7 in 1993 and had a trough of approximately 5.5 in 98, however in Japan it is possible to notice how it dramatically increased through the period given, in addition it peaked at approximately 5 in 1998 and had a trough of 2.5 in 1993.
Following the dense line which represent Japan, we could see an increase in 93 to 94 then it went in an unstable trend to 95, and there was a rapidly increase between 95 and 96 however it dropped in the middle of 96 but went high again to nearly 4.5 in 97 , we could see that it was stable for a short period then kept rising to the first third of the year 98 where it stopped and started to go down.
Moving to the dots representing the USA , it stood at 7 then decreased 6.5 between 93 and 94 , it kept rising and falling in a pattern until the year of 96 where it had a dramatic decrease , after that it rose little and went on an unsteady pattern to the end of the years given.
