At a glance, it is evident that the viewership for thrillers, comedy and science fiction exceeded that of the other genres.
In 2000, the genre comedy was at it’s peak as the viewers were almost 30 millions whereas the horror was at it’s lowest holding a low quantity of viewers.
In 1980 the genre thrillers got the most viewers which is 25 million. Conversely, the horror movies were not that much popular to the people which can not even touched 5 million as well. On the other side of the coin, in 2020 the genre horror lost it’s viewers and droped slightly from the viewers of 1980. In contrast, thriller was at it’s peak as well as in 1980 and the viewers has risen over 30 millions.
